Description
The Cellar of Joannes is located on the Maribor wine road, from where there is a wonderful view of the Drava Valley and the hills of Pohorje. The Joannes Protner house is one of the larger family farms where they are engaged in viticulture and tourism.
The wines are produced on 9 hectares of vineyards in the surrounding area. There is a 200-year-old wine cellar in the house, which was expanded in 1999 and equipped with modern winemaking equipment. The old part of the cellar now serves as a place for archive wine tastings. Some Joannes wines mature in oak barrels for at least 6 months, some of them go on the market after only 2 years (Rhine Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir). Other wines mature in stainless steel containers and are on the market after 6 months (Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Yellow Muscat...). The experience of wine tasting is a nice gift for many occasions, sometimes just as a surprise to a colleague or acquaintance, a birthday, anniversary, Christmas or New Year's gift.
In our offer, you can receive a wine tasting, you can choose between white and red, and homemade cold cuts, a plate of meat and cheese, and a bottle of wine to take home.

The offer is valid for 2 people. Reservations must be made at least 2 days before arrival by phone.
The customer will receive a full refund if they cancel the purchase at least 24 hours before the start of the experience.
If the customer cancels the order less than 24 hours before the reserved date, the amount paid will not be refunded.
Any changes less than 24 hours before the booked appointment will not be accepted.
The local time of the SXP1 provider's location applies.
Some of the experiences offered by SXP1 are weather dependent. If the appointment/booking is canceled due to bad weather, you – the customer will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
Some experiences require a minimum number of participants. If the performance of the SXP1 experience is canceled because the minimum number of participants is not met, the customer will be offered an alternative date or the SXP1 experience or a full refund.
